At IPM ESSEN 2011, it will be possible once again to see the German finalist and two other first-rate florists of world-class quality. In the summer my trip to Singapore was wonderful and memorable. Interflora Finland nominated six top florists to represent Finland in Shanghai, China. The board of Interflora Finland made a decission on July 2008 to send Jouni Seppänen to the competition. Jouni has represented Finland in the Interflora World Cup once before. Honorary medals are handed out by the Board of this National Union. The talent medals for craft, art and design have been handed out since 1950. The medal has been designed by architect Yrjö Laine-Juva. There are medals for silver and gold given for the talented craftsmen. The medals can be given to artists and entrepreneurs, whose works are known to be high quality and exceptional. The golden medal is given to a person who is known and recognized in mastery in his-her field nationally and internationally.
